Founded in 2011, KANG LI TAI Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise with proprietary intellectual property rights, specialized in the research and development, production and marketing of innovative biological pharmaceuticals. 

The category 1 of therapeutic biological drug  KLT-1101 (a recombinant human cytokine) developed by KLT Pharmaceutical is primarily used for post-chemoradiotherapy hemogram recovery, tumor immunotherapy, prevention and treatment of acute radiation diseases resulting from radiation. After the clinical trial permission was issued for KLT-1101 by the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) in October 2017, Phase I clinical trial was officially launched in June 2018. Thus far, the Phase I clinical trial on the application of KLT-1101 to the treatment of post-chemoradiotherapy leukopenia and thrombocytopenia has been accomplished. The Phase II clinical trial will be started in 2020.

In May 2017, the KLT-1101 Project of KLT Pharmaceutical was approved as a major special project of science and technology regarding National Major New Drug Innovations during the 13th Five-year Plan Period. At the 2018 Maker in China National Innovation and Venture Championships sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, KLT-1101 Development Project excelled among 8112 projects and won the only first prize in the Enterprise Category.

Now the operations and management team of KLT Pharmaceutical boasts 5 doctoral and above degree holders, and 85% of our R&D members hold a Master’s degree and above. A Scientific Adviser Committee composed of world-class scientists has been further established. Thus far,  KLT Pharmaceutical has set up 1 GMP operated R&D Laboratory and applied for 8 national major invention patents. It’s actively unfolding clinical declaration of new anti-tumor indications. Working with internationally and domestically leading research institutes and experts for in-depth industry-university- research cooperation, KLT Pharmaceutical has been focusing on tumor and autoimmune disease treatment, and continuously increasing investment in the research and development of cytokine drugs, genetically engineered antibody drugs and cell therapy drugs.
